Itinerary
Day 1: Guwahati → Kaziranga National Park
Drive to Kaziranga (~190 km, 4-5 hrs). Overnight: Kaziranga.
Day 2: Kaziranga Jeep Safari → Shillong
Jeep Safari at Kaziranga, then journey to Shillong (~280 km, 6-7 hrs). Overnight: Shillong.
Day 3: Shillong → Cherrapunjee via Laitlum Canyons
Stop at Laitlum Canyons then explore Cherrapunjee waterfalls. Overnight: Cherrapunjee.
Day 4: Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek
Nongriat Trek (~3,500 steps, 6-7 hrs) to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Overnight: Cherrapunjee.
Day 5: Cherrapunjee → Mawlynnong → Shnongpdeng
Visit Mawlynnong Village en route to Shnongpdeng, stay in Dome/Alpine Camp. Overnight: Shnongpdeng.
Day 6: Dawki Water Activities + Kragsuri Waterfall → Shillong
Boating, cliff jumping, snorkeling, then Kragsuri Waterfall and back to Shillong. Overnight: Shillong.
Day 7: Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival
Full day at the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival. Overnight: Shillong.
Day 8: Cherry Blossom Festival Magic
Second day of the festival. Overnight: Shillong.
Day 9: Shillong → Umiam Lake → Guwahati → Departure
Journey back to Guwahati with a stop at Umiam Lake (~110 km, 3.5 hrs).
